Hi all
Let me say something about this topic, because am working in this field for
awhile

Thin clients are modern form of terminal computers. a thin client may be
integrated with a lcd monitor or can be a seperate box. it has usb, netwrk
as well as vga ports. you just need to configure dhcp in the server and
install the server software, then you can connect thin client in the network
and it will start at your login screen.

Eco friendly - less power consuption.because thin client have just a small
interface board
Go Green - H/W waste will be less because the upgradations will be done in
servers only
Mobility - u can access the same session from your home also (through http:)
Convert many desktops into single thin client
easy management
fully customizable - means you can assign the RAM as well as storage space
for a user
..
like many-many advantages are there.
