Hi, I saw this guideline on the Bangalore RUG (https://groups.google.com/ group/bangalorerug/browse_thread/thread/f1e54e63546cb6e2?hl=en) I lurk at and thought it might be useful a useful addition to our guidelines. I have taken the liberty of customizing the original template
* Job postings must carry [JOB] in the subject. * Anyone that isn't a regular contributor to the conversations is discouraged from posting a job. * Anyone that only posts jobs will receive a warning and eventually be banned. * We discourage job posts that don't include enough identification so that people can look up the company and take a call on whether they're interesting without actually having to contact them. In case your company doesn't have an on-line presence you should give a detailed description of the job, its location, etc along with the corporate contact details. * Job posts by members on behalf of third parties are strongly discouraged This is of course only my opinion - moderators you are welcome to customize it further and put it somewhere prominent - or alternatively disregard this post entirely :-) -- "Freedom is the only law".
