Unlike windows each version is an updrade of previous version. So its better to choose latest version or a long-term support version. Long-term support version releases in 2 year interval. Current long-term version is 10.04. Current Ubuntu version is 11.04. But since new edition is going to be released on this month. Its better to choose the 11.10 beta.otherwise you ll need an upgrade within few days. By the way, there is no problem sticking to 11.04 itself. But in current situation 11.10 is better because there are lots of bugs in 11.04 version, most of them are fixed in upcoming 11.10. > -- > "Freedom is the only law". > "Freedom Unplugged" > http://www.ilug-tvm.org > > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google > Groups "ilug-tvm" group. > To control your subscription visit http://groups.google.co.in/group/ilug-tvm/subscribe > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected] > > > > For details visit the google group page: http://groups.google.com/group/ilug-tvm?hl=en
