Thanks for enlightening. What is the maximum no. of partitions that can be created in a hard disk? Some space is there in my hard disk unpartitioned. Is Windows cannot be installed, if there are more than the permissible no. of partitions in a disk? I could not install Windows in disk 1, as the no. of partitions in that disk is high. How to reduce the no. of partitions in a disk safely? In my disk 1, there are 12 partitions, including the one created by system. Data is there in all drives except in the system created partition.
