Dear friends,

Thought of sharing a problem which I faced after an update.

Symptom - problem with input in gnome-terminal, evince, nautilus, epiphany
etc.
Problem - missing ibus module
Solution - install ibus-gtk3

Detailed story:
I was experiencing a weird problem for the last two days. I run Debian
Wheezy (testing), with gnome 3.0. I found that I was not able to use
"gnome-terminal" smoothly after an update, the characters could not be
entered smoothly, if i type "asfds" randomly it will give show only one or
two characters, delay in accepting input. I noticed that I had the same
typing problem with epiphany (not with firefox), nautilus and evince, even
creating a new folder using nautilus was difficult. So I had to use "xterm"
for the two days, and kept searching for a solution. I found it listed here
[http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2011/06/msg02431.html], it led me to [
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=631116] where I got a
solution.

The problem was with "ibus", I use "ibus" to use "swanalekha" for input.
And as described there, I installed "ibus-gtk3" and it fixed my problem.

Cheers!
