Recent activities of ISP's, especially asianet and reliance , of blocking torrent sharing sites , video hosting sites (vimeo) etc has shown that the freedom of speech of users in internet is in their least interests . The 'hactivists' group anonymous seems to react to this issues by bringing this into governments/peoples notice by taking measures like hacking sites (anonymous Op_india) .
They are also conducting a peace rally on june 9th with immediate objectives : 1.To repeal the ban on entire websites, where only a section of the content is infringing on copyrights.
