Hi, I would seriously suggest you to try Scilab instead of Matlab. Here is a tutorial for Scilab http://www.spoken-tutorial.org/ generated by the team in IIT Bombay. Please go through this tutorial. As a FOSS activity thread, members should suggest other members to use and promote FOSS(free and open source softwares).
