Dear Jeev,

Juts like googe earth pro service?

There are several alternatives but it depends on what exactly you want to
do.
QGIS is one of the most commonly used and favorite open source spatial
analysis tools. http://qgis.org

If you want to get your hands a bit more dirty, give GRASS a shot. GRASS
brings amazing geospatial analysis and techniques into one box. It takes
fair bit of effort to master GRASS. http://grass.fbk.eu

I hope you are aware of the OpenStreetMap project. http://osm.org. There
are tonnes of tools around the project which now have built a proper
ecosystem of open source geospatial tools. See the wiki for more info.
http://wiki.osm.org.

The few new tools in the area are TileMill http://tilemill.com,
Geocommons.com and MapBox.com

If you are trying to do something specific, give me a buzz, I might be able
to help you.

HTH

Cheers,
Sajjad
