Dear Sasikumar sir,

Arch or any arch base distro is highly command line friendly. Here is
something about pacman, the package manager

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pacman

Myself was a long time user of Arch linux and later switched to Chakra
Gnu/Linux <http://www.chakra-linux.org> which came as a distrolet of Arch +
KDE and eventually transformed into a stand alone distribution.

Also, a recommended reading is the beginner's
guide<https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners%27_Guide>.
Even though, you have installed the system, it is better to know how you
build a vanilla Arch system from scratch and on the way, you would be
familiar with every nuances of Arch, making you a wizard in command line on
the go. Especially, a power user like you who knew quite a bit of CLI, its
better to study more and more.

The arch wiki and it's forums are a place where you could find virtually
any answer about desktop and server computing. And I suppose, this is one
of the few distros that allow so much Desktop
Environments<https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Desktop_Environment>and
Window
Managers <https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Window_Manager> to select
from.

and the sweetness of arch is its user repository. If by any chance, you do
not find something in the official repos, you could search in AUR and
install the program from there. Yayourt is a good wrapper having AUR
support. (Of course, Chakra has chakra community repo or CCR, the same
way.) Another tool, I liked very much here is yakuake, a terminal emulater.
Something i picked from chakra is focuswriter, a text editor which can
produce odt, txt and rtf, but is best suited for using in seminar's where
you do not have a presentation, handy.
