Hi guys, My friend recently installed Ubuntu 14.04 on Sony Vaio E series laptop with nvidia card, After installing the nvidia driver, on each reboot the system goes upto the login screen and screen backlight led is found to be turned off. However it is possible to turn it back on by using the Brightness increase/ decrease hotkeys. Is there any permanent solution to keep the screen turned on.
