You can install gnukhata from gnukhata.org We are currently developing the desktop based app, you can either wait some more days before it is stable or you can use web based app, which is stable and used by many organizations like ICFOSS for last 3 years. If you prefer the desktop app, you can help by testing the development version. Let me know if you have difficulty installing it.
