Hi Apparently, there is an enterprise where they extract Gold from electronic hardware. They put the PCBs in strong acids, which will dissolve everything except gold and recover the gold used to make the contacts inside ICs in the PCB.
Maybe you could try that. AFAIK, this is done in a place called 'Byatrayanpura' in Bangalore. Regards Akarsh
