The task of doing this revamp was given to me. And i like debian :) The fact that we had the debian repository next building(IITM ftp) also helped. I setup a FAI(Fully automatic installation) server and did all the client configurations in that (I setup ldap for authentication, which reqd editing 4-5 files on the clients). After that all the 40 machines installation happened in some 3 hours without any intervention and the systems were ready for use right away! -- Santhosh
