Dear Friends,
I have tried to configure NIS Master and NIS Client in two computers loaded
with Fedora 8.
Iam getting the following error on running in Server
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# service ypbind start
Starting NIS service: [ OK ]
Binding NIS service: ......... [FAILED]
Shutting down NIS service: [ OK ]
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#
I also ran the following command in server
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rpcinfo -u nisserver ypserv
rpcinfo: RPC: Unknown host
program 100004 is not available
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#
Kindly do help me out of this problem. Thank you
