Kenneth,

I think you wanted to say "CC license is perhaps overkill for the content of
your mails." ?

Because who is to say what is "serious creative work" and what is
'run-of-the-mill mails' ... Further why are you trying to police the use of
a license that can be used by anyone freely as per his/her choice. Shirish
owns the copyright of the emails he writes and it is his, only his, business
to give other people permissions on what they can do with the content.
Calling it "campaigning to trivialise the creative commons license" is
attributing motives where, perhaps, none exist.

I do not know the people who are laughing at the CC license after seeing
Shirish's emails. But maybe they need some education too ;)
