Swapnil, Lets have a final check from ourside. 1. Which distro you are using? or list the distros you tested? 2. Did you test with live CD? Which applications are connecting and which are not connecting? 3. Are you able to connect to sites after changing User Agent string in firefox? (http://johnbokma.com/mexit/2004/04/24/changinguseragent.html) 4. What is the output of 'ifconfig', 'route', /etc/resolv.conf, traceroute <unabletoopensite>, ping <unabletoopensite>, iptables -L 5. What nmap says about your gateway('nmap <yourdefaultgateway>'). is it all filtered? It will be useful if you share your answers with ilugc for the above questions. If someone have better idea to trace the culprit, please help swapnil to figure out.
