Dear Friends,
We the C.S.E dept. of Rajalakshmi Engineering College are organizing Techfest
for students on 27/08/2008. All student members of ILUGC can participate in
Open Source event. Usage of Linux Commands, Open source tools, simple network
configuration & shell scripts for automation of simple tasks in Networking. To
encourage the use of OSS among student community we organizing this event.
In our LUGC, lots of talk on women participation in OSS was being done
recently. I thought instead of preaching, let me do practising. This event will
be totally managed by girls of our college. I have trained them from scratch.
Hope this initiative succeeds.
