Hello
All was well with F.C.9,0 but except Firefox 3.0 which was recently started
functioning weirdly. The reason was that it was throwing an error message
stating that
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." whenever
I try to browse page on the internet though all network parameters are
functioning
as usual. Hence, I decided to try my luck with F.F 1.5 and went on removing
F.F. 3.0 from default folders.
The irony is that still the error message is being displayed on browser F.F.
1.5 too.
The kernel is "Linux genomefoundation 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Aug 4
13:46:35 EDT 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux" I installed F.F.1.5 through
tar file.
I have no clue as to how to get rid off this tangle?
with thanks

What's your linux distribution? And how did you install FF1.5?
How are you trying to start firefox?
??
Your error message provides a good clue: it looks like FF3 is
not correctly uninstalled or your application icon is incorrectly
pointing to FF3.
