Hello,

As I recently wrote (http://www.imsc.res.in/~kapil/blog),
I created a Fedora domU on a Debian etch machine using "xen-tools"
and "rinse". The latter creates a really minimal installation
which can basically just run "yum" to install more stuff.

The question I have is what is a list of packages which will
constitute a reasonable collection of packages for a Fedora domU.
I would expect something like:
 yum install "Console Tools"
I could compile this list by hand but I am looking for something
"ready-made".

I asked this question on #fedora (freenode) and was told that this is
not a supported method of installing Fedora Core. As I can see from
the documentation at www.fedoraproject.org --- it is indeed not!

So I have a complementary question. What constitutes a supported
method of installing Fedora as a domU or a chroot? To give an idea of
the answer I am looking for --- something like "debootstrap".

As far as I could make out the only way seems to be to boot a fully
virtualised environment like "qemu" or an HVM Xen. Is that really the
case?

Regards,

Kapil.
