Dear Sir, I downloaded kernel driver for my garmin gps so that I can interface it with my ubuntu desktop as the linux command for GPS interface was not working :
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gpsbabel -t -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F blah.gpx usb_set_configuration failed, probably because kernel driver '' is blocking our access to the USB device. For more information see http://www.gpsbabel.org/os/Linux_Hotplug.html". The link that I had used for downloading garmin gps kernel driver is : http://sourceforge.net/projects/garmin-gps/ I have ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron. If I try to execute the downloaded kernel driver, only error message results. It says as if each line is wrong. It is a BIG error. Kindly suggest me how to install kernel driver for garmin GPS.
