hi,
I have two mail ids on two different servers - [email protected] and [email protected]. I
have
two identities in kmail and two accounts corresponding. I have two folders -
one to receive mail for foo.com and one for bar.com. Mail sent from foo id
goes through foo servers and that from bar id goes through bar server - this
took me 2 weeks to configure, but it works.

When I press 'reply' to a mail addressed to foo.com I expect that the 'from'
address will be foo.com. Why do I expect this? Because for 2 years I was
using apple mail program which automatically did this for all the 5 ids I was
using then. With kmail it is a lottery. Which means that when replying to
mailing lists, a good number of my mails get rejected because I have replied
from the wrong 'from' address. There is a little check box called 'sticky' in
the composer - no idea how it works. Anyone know how to solve this?

My personal opinion is that this problem is called because kmail has something
called a 'default account'. wtf is a default account? It goes without saying
that mail to an account should be replied to from the same account. That is
default behaviour. If you want to reply from some other account, you should
be able to specify this.
