Ahem Lok Satta certainly rings a bell , I remember Dr Anil Jampala
mentioning about it in one of the Lug meetings in Hyd. Hope he is in good
spirits after Satyam Fiasco, Foss and Politics in India i think have come a
long way for example http://www.lkadvani.in/eng/ is running on Linux , i am
sure there may be more instances of those , Who knows what will happen to
Foss after they win the election or the company who is helping them now.

talking about Hyd whats happening with http://nisg.org/ and
http://www.hrdiap.gov.in/ about later i remember seeing a huge infra
structure made for training in M$ technologies thanks to M$.

Recently we built a data entry app in OpenOffice Base. We will take up

Go ahead and scratch your itch with politicians , Let me guess you must be
a comitee member for IT in LSP if not can you ask them to change from IIS
to Apache and Windows2000 to Gnu/Linux , if you have not tasted it , it
would be a fun excercise on a small scale about the resistance to change and
fi and buts for buy in . Yes i see they are using php in some way.
