> Hi,

lspci -v |grep -i audio
00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc IXP SB4x0 High Definition Audio
Controller (rev 01)

The above was my sound card installed. And i can't see any similar controls
like "Analog loop back". Btw, in my gnome volume control, it shows two
devices,
1.HDA ATI SB(Alsa Mixer)
2.Realtek ALC861(OSS-Mixer)

I have tried both of them. Still it doesn't work :-(

Here are some more outputs

cat /proc/asound/devices
  0: [ 0] : control
  1: : sequencer
 16: [ 0- 0]: digital audio playback
 24: [ 0- 0]: digital audio capture
 33: : timer

cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [SB ]: HDA-Intel - HDA ATI SB
HDA ATI SB at 0xfe024000 irq 16

cat /proc/asound/pcm
00-00: ALC861 Analog : ALC861 Analog : playback 1 : capture 1
