i dont know if kenneth said that, but in any case, this is not quite true. 
this mail server hosts things other than this mailing list. because of that, 
it is not possible for the list admin (who is also sys admin) to filter out 
faniq, hi5 whatever at the server level. actually, the subject of this mail 
poses the correct question - if anyone is aware of any way to get mailman to 
do this, i will be happy to implement it. the quote attributed to kenneth is 
right in the sense that i really dont have time to write code that will add 
this functionality to mailman.
