Coming to the question of scripting languages they come handy in your day to day activities , i call them transferable skills through jobs , so it will help and does not hurt learning few scripting languages when you are idling around. So coming back to the basic question of Mobile Maemo/Android/Symbian etc VS Web Applications at some point they meet in certain applications so it will be a Handy skill to have . An employer will prefer a Guy who is focussed on a product or platform if there focus in Product development and if they are service oriented they generally prefer a person with multiple skills. so it all boils down to where you want to go Product company or Service company or want to create a Service or Product company of your own!!! -Satya http://www.linkedin.com/in/satyaakam _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [email protected] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
