Hi! Labview is a totally proprietary software developed by National Instruments for Data acquisition and control. It has evolved over the past 20 years in to a development platform for DAS but still remains proprietary. It does not comply with standards and is not considered as a programming language. There are have been some developments with regard to some open source libraries for Labview but they are only add-ons.As mentioned above there is no one-to-one equivalent. Labview does run under linux but it is not free.
