I don't believe this either. Most political parties do this. They say something just to come to power, then do something else once they're in power. Even if an individual were to change his/her ideas all of a sudden, there'd be lots of criticism. If a political party (that too a national one) is doing it, frankly, I can only hope (against hope) that they're gonna do what they say. The January 2009 incident is indeed testimony to the fact that they supported proprietary software till then. Whatever happens, let FOSS benefit in the end. :) May the source be with you.
