GNUKhata is a free accounting and inventory software, a project in progress at Comet Media Foundation, Mumbai with support from the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI).
Currently GNUKhata is under heavy development as its timeline at http://gnukhata.gnulinux.in/ shows. It is in its alpha stage, with the Inventory and Accounting modules both reaching the end of the first production cycle and we are now ready to share the Release Candidate with you.
