Hi list , This is what I would like to do . I want to run firefox from a remote server .
1 . I need ssh -X access which rarely people give or firewalls allow :( The other logical choice would be SSH tunneling where the browser stays in my own home machine while every data which firefox sends/recieves goes via the SSH tunnel which we create . 2. I doubt if firewalls allow tunneling or is there any filtering mechanism to stop / restrict the incoming data ? Yes I am quite confused and ignorant. Hence I m mailing this list with hope that some one could clarify :) Regards, Pavithran -- pavithran sakamuri www.pavithran.org _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [email protected] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
