Friends. I have a network issue with kubuntu 9.04
My laptop is IBM Thinkpad T41 lspci says Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82540EP Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Mobile) (rev 03) My laptop is getting disconnected from the network often. sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart does nothing. sudo dhclient eth0 is keep in requesting for an IP. reboot is the only way to connect with network. That too lasts for some 2 - 3 hours. What will be the reason for this? How to make the network connection persistent?
