Hi all, Recently to simulate HW issue, in a properly running (Linux) system, we removed the power cable and reconnected after ~1min. During the HDD power off and after the power on condition, whatever appl running in memory is continue to run, till it needs to access the HDD and it crashed at the time of accessing the HDD. Unable to start any appl or command and got I/O Error. Only after a reboot, system back to normal condition.
Someone can throw a light on "why system unable to come back to normal after HDD power reconnected". And during hibernate, How the appl are able resume back to normal operation?
