What do you mean by multimedia? It stands for a lot of things. There are several audio/music liveCDs that come with complete audio studio tools for audio engineering and sound effects. You can download liveCDs, burn them, boot and you are done. ;) You can also read Dave Phillip's articles on linuxjournal. He is a musician and he writes very good articles. http://geexbox.org (boring) and http://dynebolic.org are some examples. I used to like wimp based on mplayer. You can play videos, music and so on from CD, DVD and USB. You can also stream from the network. Or do you mean something else? Multimedia is an overloaded word. Using a specific word is better. -Girish -- Gayatri Hitech web: http://gayatri-hitech.com SpamCheetah Spam filter: http://spam-cheetah.com _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [email protected] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
