The usual "OMG the world is going to end!" story that seems to crop up
every week.
Though justified, it's still a bad move from Google, but fwiw this issue
has been supposedly 'amicably' resolved - Cyanogen is currently working
with the Google folks to make a bare-bones mod that excludes Google's
closed-source apps. Details are still being worked out, but a new,
lawyer-compliant release is expected soon.
