Dear All,
I tried to download and install openoffice.org softwares for my RHEL 5. I
tried to install the rpm packages in the folder :
OOO310_m19_native_packed-1_en-US.9420 . I tried to install all the ooo* ,
openoffice* openoffice.org-userland-1.0-0.noarch and
openoffice.org3.1-redhat-menus-3.1-9420.noarch rpms : But after running the
setup program I got this error :
rpm --upgrade --ignoresize -vh
/root/OOO310_m19_native_packed-1_en-US.9420/RPMS/jre-6u16-linux-i586.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
java-gcj-compat is needed by (installed) antlr-2.7.6-4jpp.2.i386
java-gcj-compat >= 1.0.31 is needed by (installed)
gnu-crypto-2.1.0-2jpp.1.i386
java-gcj-compat >= 1.0.64 is needed by (installed)
gjdoc-0.7.7-12.el5.i386
jce is needed by (installed) gnu-crypto-2.1.0-2jpp.1.i386
However I was able to access open office software. I am worried that the
error message may lead to a problem at a later stage. Kindly help me in
fixing the bug.
