All, I read an article about the Empathy in the LFY issue of this month, The Empathy supports the voice chat and the desktop sharing [1]. This is first time I used gtalk voice chat service from the Linux box. In the same article they convey Empathy is still in the earlier stage to get stable. To know about empathy [2].
[1] I has not tested the desktop sharing yet.
