$ at 7pm
ls /
<Ctrl-D>
job 1258205400.c at Sat Nov 14 19:00:00 2009

will execute the command "ls /" at 7pm.

Please remember, it is a little tricky. I have had issues with it.

It relies on cron and also a daemon(atd) or something to run. Only
then it will work.

But it can be really useful. It remembers the working directory from
which you execute the command. The output will be sent as mail
to you.

You can execute this as a regular user of course.

Moreover you can give a file as

$ at -f script.sh Monday

at is brilliant when it comes to understanding time. It can read your mind. ;)
