Its other important disadvantage of SUA is that you do not have access to the source. So if it has a bug you can't easily find a fix for it! Secondly, you probably cannot distribute GPL binaries linked against it since that would most likely violate MS licenses. Cygwin or other such systems have a distinct advantage there.
