You are supposed to use this USB image http://liveusb-openbsd.sf.net along with this article. http://linuxjournal.com/article/9787 Interestingly one has Rajni and the other Gauthami. ;) mplayer requires configuration to do whatever I have talked about in this article. My USB stick image has everything configured already. So kindly download the image, burn it, boot it and play a video. You can enjoy the rich OSD stuff done by mplayer.
