On the issue of certification, Mr.Baskar was narrating how a company conducted interview. They defined a set of tasks like setting LDAP,firewall etc. The prospective candidate was asked to set it up. The company provided machine, software etc. The candidate was given time - two days in a particular case - to prepare and come back. The candidate setup the system as per the laid down criteria and got the job. No questions- multiple choice, fill in the blanks etc.
