hi, as mentioned recently kmail stopped quoting my messages so I had to delete the kmailrc to get the functionality back. Some time ago I had to associate identities with folders, and in this message:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.org.user-groups.linux.ilugc/49664/match=kmail I was given this advice: <snip> Presumably, you are filtering your messages from your various accounts to their respective folders (I do it with 4 accounts). Now right click on these folders, go to property and associate that folder with the respective email identity. Now, select the message folder and select "compose", the mail identity associated with that folder will be used. I use a couple of mail ids for the various mailing lists and this feature works very well for me. (It KMail 1.9.9 stock openSUSE 11.0) </snip> I am using kmail in fedora 11 (version 1.11.4) and when I right click on a folder, there is nothing in which to associate it with the email identity. It was there in the earlier version of kmail - or is my copy of kmail b0rked? Anyway now mail 'To' any identity goes to the appropriate folder, but 'Envelope to' does not. -- regards kg http://lawgon.livejournal.com _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [email protected] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
