Fedora 12 uses Nouveau by default and Nvidia proprietary driver conflicts with it. I hope Nvidia fixes that sometime but meanwhile, you can read http://rpmfusion.org/Howto/nVidia > 2.During the first login itself i got a kernel crash log. This is probably a reference to kernel oops which is different from a kernel crash. We have Abrt (automatic bug reporting tool) installed by default in Fedora 12 to provide these oopses to kerneloops.org to improve the quality of Linux kernel. This is general QA measure. If you don't have the utility installed, oopses are logged only to /var/log/messages. Oopses generally are not a serious issue. > 3.The network manager applet doesnt work for mobile internet connection. > It is able to connect only one time after restarting the machine.I couldnt > able to downgrade it using yum. Well, the GA version will be the oldest version available in the repository and hence cannot be downgraded via yum. If a update caused a issue, you can rollback to the previous version via yum downgrade. What mobile connection are using? What wireless do you have?
