I feel it would be nice to come up with a list of Laptop Model's and their configuration for a GNU/Linux OS. Many people face trouble coming up with the right drivers for their hardware, and waste a lot of time searching on configuring them. Eg. My friend's took ages finding a Via chrome AGP driver for Karmic(HCL). A centralized wiki may save a lot of time.
