Dear All, Myself conducted a half-day FOSS seminar in Arul Anandar College (Autononous), Karumathur (Near Madurai) for the 1st and 2nd year MCA students. After the programme, I came to understand that, the management wants to use F/OSS throughout the institution replacing proprietary softwares.
The also have decided to conduct a two-day faculty development programme in FOSS in the next academic year. I have demonstrated Fedora-12 installation and provided free DVDs to them. S.
