After I posted, google'd a bit more and arrived at the same
conclusion.  Thanks for the clarification nonetheless.

Ditto as above.  Looked at above link after google search :)

That is good to know.   VLAN tag does not apply to my specific setup
confirmed by ISP and yourself.   The Atom board is an excellent
platform for small foot print appliance w/o the price tag.   Have you
been able to lay your hands on the DG945GCFL2 (Atom 930)?  It has 2
multi-threaded cores  (4 threads total).    I have been unable to get
any in the Mumbai channels.
