I would suggest it only if you have some *small *project to develop or you are a newbie(in which case you shouldnt be using ide at all) and want to get onspeed with c/c++ syntaxes etc and the help from IDE w.r.t the hints - otherwise get back to the vim/emacs mode. To answer your Q : i am not sure what the problem is.
