one *can* write bad code in python, but one needs to work very hard on it -

back to facebook - at one stage they were deploying 200 servers with 16 gb RAM 
each and using memcached to put their whole database in 3.2 tb of memory 
(nginx, tornado and memcached). I do not think that memcached is written in 
java.

I am quite sure that I am not using MVC - django describes itself as a MVT 
(model, view, template)

most people never stop writing bad code ... my point is that to write good 
secure code in php one needs to be a brilliant programmer - most of us are 
not, which is why we are well advised to stick with python.
