To simplify, its like utility service such as electricity. You use electricity whenever and whatever quantity you need and pay for it at the end of the month. With cloud computing one can demand for computing power whenever and however much needed and pay per utilization unit. This requires considerable amount of infrastructure to be set up at the provider's side. At the user's end, its sheer convenience. Imagine you have a startup with limited costs, no IT resources, you have to get started immediately and get the product live etc. All you do is, go to a cloud provider, demand for resources, start using it right away and pay per usage unit. Its a win win for all. Thanks Gourav Cloud computing is nothing but technology that have all computing power in > the Internet. For e.g., right now, when you use email, you already use the > cloud.
