Although I have never used browser on my mobile phone, I would imagine
it is not as convenient to edit the messages to look trim and proper
(as from a desktop or laptop).

Perhaps this was the case.   To some degree I agree with Girish; we
should not get too bent on rules and start missing valuable
information.    It happened to me way back where the moderator
rejected my answer  to a question that was posted on one of the ILUG
mailing lists.    Unfortunately, no one else had a clue to the OP's
problem and it remained unanswered.    A private email to the
moderator turned into an acerbic rant about posting rules and I signed
out of the list
