Dear LUG friends, I am tasked with handling corporate training for a big company in Chennai on 24th and 25th.
I owe a lot of gratitude to LUG for acting as Guinea pigs since I learnt training only by giving free/charity talks for LUG. Anyway leave that aside. In nature we find that the strong always learn from experiences and emerge successful when the weak continue to complain/give excuses. Look at the Satyam episode for instance. All politicos made away with cash but look at our poor Raju garu. ;) Anyway the end result of my experience with LUG is that today I know fairly well how to teach technology. But I am not very good at linux kernel and device drivers. That is where I want your help. I think it is a win win situation. By collaborating in a mailing list like this all of us benefit and at least for a little while I can turn attention away from silly topics like attracting people to LUG meets and why GNU should be added to linux. :) Don't worry. I like "nakkal" a lot like our Parthiban actor. So here goes. I have collected a bunch of training material here: ftp://64.85.171.142/ldd/ And Shuveb advised me to use Shakthi Kannan's free material: http://www.shakthimaan.com I am sure Shakthi is more than willing to help in such a cause. He he. ;) So now I want you guys to help me out. No suspense how I got so much material out there. I simple googled for " linux kernel device driver filetype:pdf" That is all. Kindly pour in your ideas and share your driver development expertise. I will try my level best to ensure that I don't take more than I give. I always ensure that. I will perhaps give a training to LUG on this topic FREE OF COST. This is my promise. But only after I get enough traction from you people... -Girish -- Gayatri Hitech web: http://gayatri-hitech.com SpamCheetah Spam filter: http://spam-cheetah.com _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
