Just curious - how long does the copy take assuming the HDD is hooked > up to an IDE/SATA port in the file server system? > > Normally less than 2 hrs when copied to external USB hard drive (my internal hdd is 1TB SATA). Recently i connected a second 1TB SATA HDD and transferred the repository, the data transfer rate was around 70MB/sec. S.
